U12s United: Our Values and Objectives

We are all FA Level one qualified coaches that have been police checked by the club.
We coach the boys for fun and to develop their soccer potential to the maximum and be good citizens. We have all signed the clubs code of conduct.

What are our values?
We always give positive encouragement. It is hard playing soccer matches and mistakes will be made by all the players. Players should play to the whistle- yes refs do make mistakes- enjoy matches and training; never give up- our team’s slogan; lastly want to win. If players play their best we are happy, the player is happy, the team is happy and hopefully the result will be happy for everyone.

Will subs play?
We have a squad of 16, we select the 2/3 subs on the day. The sub will hopefully get at least 15 minutes unless the game is exceptional

How do we select the team?
It is mainly on merit taking into account over the season that the squad will rotate giving each player a chance to perform to the best of their ability

How can my son improve?
Attend practices; enjoy the games he watches and plays; listen to coach feedback are three. Each boy has different ways to learn.

What do I do if I have a complaint?
We always welcome feedback to improve our performance even though we are volunteers and also have other work and family commitments. Please take it up with the coach concerned or if about another player any of the coaches. Please discuss the matter privately if possible. Do not let the matter fester, we all make mistakes and boys can not be 100% well behaved!

Did we achieve our objectives?
