  • Stay calm but act swiftly and observe the situation. Is there danger of further injuries

  • Listen to what the injured person is saying and alert the First Aider who should take appropriate action for minor injuries

  • In the event of an injury requiring specialist treatment, call the emergency services

  • Ensure that the Five Mile Drive ground vehicular access gate is opened for the ambulance to enter the playing areas - emergency key is in the Clubhouse in a safety/security box behind the tea counter.

  • Deal with the rest of the group and ensure that they are adequately supervised

  • Do not move someone with suspected major injuries. Wait for the emergency services

  • Contact the injured persons' parent/guardian. NB all Managers to have contact details on file for all their player's parents/guardians.

  • Complete an accident/incident report
